Is Jim Carrey Bewitched

Bruce Almighty star Jim Carrey appeared on the Howard Stern Show this week and mentioned he talked to Nicole Kidman about co-starring with her in the upcoming Columbia Pictures adaptation of TV series hit Bewitched. Carrey said he may be taking on the role of Darrin Stephens.

The sitcom followed the exploits of Samantha (Kidman), a witch who -- much to her mother's disdain -- marries a mortal. He discovers her lineage only after they're wed, and she earnestly tries to abandon her powers for the sake of her mortal husband, Darren, but temptation constantly gets in the way.
