Evan Rachel Wood will star in the independent feature Pretty Persuasion for director Marcos Siega. James Woods, Ron Livingston and Christina Applegate will star in the project, which begins shooting in summer 2004.
The film centers on a sexual harassment scandal that engulfs an exclusive Beverly Hills private school.
Wood (Thirteen) plays a teenager who frames her teacher for sexual harassment. The teacher has yet to be cast, but Woods plays the girl's father, Applegate is a reporter for a local news station and Livingston plays a fellow teacher who also is a lawyer representing his colleague.
