Paycheck

Entertainment Tonight visited the set of director John Woo's sci-fi thriller Paycheck, starring Ben Affleck, Uma Thurman, Aaron Eckhart, Paul Giamatti and Joe Morton.

Based on a story by PHILIP K. DICK, whose tales have inspired such memorable films as 'Minority Report, 'Total Recall' and 'Blade Runner,' 'Paycheck' casts Ben as Michael Jennings, a computer genius who does specialized projects for high-tech corporations. Once a job is finished, Michael has his memory routinely erased so he cannot divulge company secrets to future clients.

"Basically, my guy spends his life going from one job to the next and only remembers the weekends of his life," Ben tells ET, adding, "You know, I've always been kind of a nerd [with a] passion for computers. Although I rarely admit that."

At the end of his latest high-paying gig, instead of the $4.4 billion paycheck he's expecting, Michael is instead handed an envelope filled with random objects and told that he elected to forfeit all payment. With his memory erased, Michael must find out why he declined the cash and put the pieces together before his previous employers have him killed!

Sexy love interest UMA THURMAN also stars in the movie as a biologist who helps Ben try to regain his memory. "I'm kind of a foolish girl, I guess, who falls in love with a guy who's not gonna remember any of it," the actress tells ET.
